~ The Crying List ~ a trial of poets I have a list of poets each who’ve made me cry With their words of beauty telling of hearts about to die I love these words of beauty each is a treasure chest But my dearest poets now I’ll put you to the test This is a trial of sorts present your case to me And I my sweetest friends I’ll be both judge and jury But I warn you dearest poets just you pay me heed This is retribution it’s punishment you need Kethry darling sister you’re first to hear your fate Your poems are divine but your sorry is too late Dear John had the tears running down my face Now my darling girl you’re in the crying race Stand up now Circe what do you say to me Didn’t I say no more tears? Hmm my dearest sister SEA It’s too late for all your sorries oh darling poetess Your words had me crying I looked like such a mess Come look me in the eye tell me if you please Sunshine you had me crying you didn’t heed my pleas Now ‘Deer you’re in the dock come pray tell me true Have you an excuse or what defence have you? I know your words are beauty of that I won’t deny But ‘Deer dearest poet did you have to make me cry? Kit stop that grinning you’re as bad as all the rest Your words had me sobbing even if they were your best Bill do you hear me, why did you make me weep? I even had tearstains, as I lay there fast asleep It wouldn’t be so awful if I didn’t look so bad But my favourite poets I do that’s what makes me mad Red rimmed eyes don’t become me, no they don’t at all And my nose goes blotchy when the teardrops start to fall So you have been tried and you’re guilty every one What shall be your punishment now this trial is done? Mushy, I already told you I can't do funny I can only do manic...besides I'm listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack...now how can I do funny after listening to this...and I'm up to the devastating climax in my book, how can you ask this of me...you'll make me cry...sob! I knew that this was coming ... saw your warning, my oh my! Dear Marsha I'm so sorry that at times I've made you cry! I'll tell you what, just picture what would happen in this scene ... If Balladeer had caught LngJhn and Toe ... and intervened.  Thank you dear for your wonderful enthusiasm and warmth, and for this delightful poem Marsha! (I was grinning too, lol). NO MORE TEARS Darling sister of my heart, stop collecting tears. I think you've misunderstood. When that old wise woman you met in the woods said collected tears could defy nature and bring back the bloom, she didn't mean mine. All my tears will do is make you soggy and your screen short out. Dave darling boy, HAH you need a poem all to yourself, YOU are surely responsible for more tears than almost any other. Unless we count Keth Who will be doing penance for an eternity. Isn't it a good job she loves me However YOU darling boy need to pay up I asked you for no more tears, didn't I? I pleaded with you, please Dave I said, Pretty please even, did it work? Nooooooo it did not. And now you mock my pain! Well, darling boy watch out because I shall seek retribution. I've counted those tears. Every single one of them. Those tears that fell from my eyes like crystal droplets, that clung to my eyelashes making them sparkle. I don't care how pretty that sounds they don't look good with anything. Marsha, I would love to make you wiggle! No wait you said giggle, didn't you? I suppose you would still giggle at the thought of a wiggle that causes a jiggle. Oh Dear, now I fear, I've come oh so near to making appear an unexpected tear from the laughing out loud of a woman so proud and so well endowed, that now I am wowed and my head is bowed and I crossed-my-heart vowed to lift up this cloud and reveal how I fouled.
