The memories are like echoes
Trapped in a stillness
I can recall the names of
The participants who wove
The web, but the faces are vague, dreams
Dancing across the tip of a tongue
Sometimes I lie in dark places unable to
Contain the voices or visions reminding
Me fate is an entanglement
presented aesthetically.
For a celebrated span the illusion was accessible,
We gazed into decorative eyes exposing the other’s reflection, and love was foolish,
but it wasn’t blind.
We knew soul mates and ever after's
didn’t exist, but for a while
we pretended as if they did.

Very nicely done.. enjoyed the tone of accepted inevitability.

There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar.

(sigh) Soul mates may sound like such a mysterious and mundane concept sometimes, but I believe once love is found and is real, the joy and bliss of being with that person forever feels so right! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, this is very thought-provoking! You have such a beautfiul heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I've always wondered why we pretend. . .

well done. . . there's a lot of emotion here. . . and a lot from the heart. . . welcome. . .

This has a very subtle, unique message to it.  There is an intensity underlying its fluid words. I really liked the uniqueness of your voice.  ***Ivy Rose
