Spiraling simplicity
the eyes of you
view whole of me
colored spin
duplicity
dancing
in an angel's wing...

Feather's froth
confetti dust--
a falling
of the things that must
pass away and drift on air...
A question lingers: "Was it there?"

One query left shall soon breed two.
"Say you did not feel it too."
Yes, say my heart beat all alone--
each lie you speak I will condone.

I do not care what your mouth speaks.
Let me hear your knock on door,
a-trembling with shaking knees--
I need the satin of "some more..."

There is loneliness inside.
Dry salt bed of tears uncried.
There are memories that die
without a eulogy of lies.

But dance with me,
just one more night.
Watch the moon--
watch her delight...
she, the shadow
of the light,
pulling
waves
of sea as sigh.

I love the way you have pondered the questions and circumstance in this Serenity ... questioning whether your feelings were reciprocated, yet wanting more, no matter the response. Very much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Serenity,
There is loneliness inside.
Dry salt bed of tears uncried.
Doesn't get better than that.

oh baby....dont we know....
from your pen to my mirror me twin ...
anyone ever tell ya your rhymes are divine

I ask why you come here, you say just because
Could I live without it if I knew what it was
But it really dont matter when you look at me that way.

This one goes in my library, it went right through me.
Here I am on here again oh jeez, I'm trying....just a few poems
and then gosh, it is so lovely outside, snow and all, how can I resist
going out and freezing

I like this a lot.

Another very good write.  Kit definitely summed this write up very well.  Nicely done.

serenity - you do write some beautiful poetry.

But dance with me,
just one more night.
Watch the moon--
watch her delight...
she, the shadow
of the light,
pulling
waves
of sea as sigh.

Dance I will,
but not for one...
In a moonbeam,
my delight...
Shadows two,
in the twilight,
embracing waves,
whisper your sigh...
