My 9 year old wrote this poem after the world trade center incident...

I hold in my hand The American Flag
by Brandon

One day the twin towers.
Were burning in our hearts.
It started a war,
from the very start.
We fight to the end,
we hold to what's true.
We hold close to our colors,
The red, white, and blue.

Amazing what a nine year old can write! Nicely patriotic! Happy New Year to you and your family

Please ensure your son continues to write out his thoughts and feelings and there is always someone to read them.  What a wonderful poem for a 9 year old to compose, congratulations to him on writing on such a heart wrenching subject so well.
