Her Dance So Sweet

With glimmering slippers,
She stays on her toes.
Keeping her balance,
With movement she flows.

Twirling with passion,
Faster and faster.
She the obedient,
Slave to her master.

She gracefuly bends,
With breathtaking movement.
I make the assessment,
She needs no improvement.

She dips and she bends,
With ethereal grace.
A beautiful glow,
Now gleams on her face.

The music is ending,
Slowly stopping her feet.
She now bows with elegance.
Her sweet dance complete.

Floria, this has a lovely cadence and rhyme ... a beautiful flow to match the images that are elicited by the words of dance that you have painted here. Just lovely.

Best wishes,
/Kit

I always wanted to be a dancer but could never quite master it.

I enjoy the dream though....

A pleasure to read as it flowed liked honey. I can just see ballet recitals with little girls in toe shoes and parents beaming, thinking their little girl is the most talented. Cheryl

Very sweet, indeed, Floria.  I thought the poem was about you at first, and then the focus shifted so gracefully - I enjoyed this very much.
