Another in the Ramble Series.....

I greet the moon in darkness
Across space, the color of stone,
A figure in the light
A drop in a rainless sky
Romantic notations and
Empty pages
Of the dual dance
Of the morning after
Between the lines
Of distractions
My dark canvas waits
The intrusion of the dreamer
Which is not so simple
Drawing circles in the
Sand, watching the river
Bend and the leaves
Fall, never have I felt
Such intense passion
I was dreaming under the
Willow tree, I was reading you aloud
Like a poem, sharing favorite
Secrets
You kissed my hair
To awaken me,
I laughed and a~wait
For the night to
Come
~~~~~~
Tomorrow's another day
and I'm thirsty any way
so bring on the rain
A drop in a rainless sky ...
such as a word on an empty page.
Such things have no physical appearance but the "feel" is real and these words have me feeling alot!
A beautiful ramble Lauren.
Wish you the happiness you seek in this new year.
