Your Melody Of Words

Alone tonight I search the stars
to find my dream lover
Gazing beyond Venus and Mars
wanting to discover

A light I see in distant night
that’s drawing me closer
The flame burns hot that you ignite
dear master composer

I hear on the wind a whisper,
a gentle, sweet caress
As it fills my soul completely
I sigh with tenderness

Your words flow softly in my soul
like music in the air
Of passion and love you extol
with true love you declare

Your melody of words I read
playing love’s perfect tune
As my dream lover you proceed
with thoughts that make me swoon

I reach to touch the heart of you
but am forced to withdraw
Right now, my dreams, I’ll not pursue
I’ll wait harmonic law

Karen Torbiak 2001

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Karen...there you go weaving again...Our
master weaver at work...did you eat any
oysters today by any chance???

I understand that clams do the same thing
as oysters...Is that true?

Nicely written lady...as always...

Sandra...oh yes..the dream is so beautiful...and one never knows what a New Year will bring. I wish you to have this dream too in the New Year. **big hugs** HAPPY NEW YEAR, DEAR ONE.

Barry....silly man...of course I have been eating oysters. I have a whole quart of them here for me to eat all alone. I love them....mmmm I have never heard that about clams....but I can guarantee that oysters work...I guess, since there is no man around that means I should be careful how many I eat. *giggling very wickedly* hugs HAPPY NEW YEAR...Give my love to Lou and the children.

Nancy...Thank you so much...I am glad you liked it. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU TOO. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Eddie...thank you so much, dear man. I too wish that all that you desire comes to you in the New Year. May your dreams become realities. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Wishing you well deep into the New Year, AND
NOT JUST ON ONE DAY, as can be a habit with many people...your stuff on the Revelations takes time to read, that's no clamy kiss either, lol

Karen, you are such a lovely person.  I know this dream but I hate it when anything withdraws
I'm in a silly mood today and probably should not be here !!!!!

I like this very much.  The metaphor is excellent here, gravity, motion and music all in one.  And poetic.  Very good.
