As my will to live with peace is strong
my writing seems to come out all wrong.
While moments of grief may cross my door,
The sinking feeling of loss is obscure.

Am I to blame that little pill,
The one that gave me back my will?
Now I am me, once again whole
yet the will to write I trade for my soul.

At how to find balance, I am lost
I cannot trade joy, this poet's great cost.
The answer, I fear, is in a gear's sudden change.
Weaving goodness and peace is a task oh so strange.

I can't control
my destiny
I trust my soul,
my only goal
is just to "be"
-Lyrics from RENT

Sometimes it's a symptom of something else, the craving for expression, the drive to put it down, make it real, I don't know, I do know we all have it here on these blue pages.  I've been reading it for nearly two years and once it gets into your blood, it's hard to deny.  I enjoyed this.
