As I wander through my days, I have such good memories of how I was raised.....
My momma had a special recipe, and I have been blessed for it was handed down to me.....

It consist of one big ole' heart, filled with plenty of love.....
A cup full of imagination, which dreams are made of.....
Two loving arms, which hold you so tight, makes you
know how much your loved and everything will be alright.....
A pinch of good humor, makes it so easy to smile,
for we all should enjoy laughter, every once in a while.....
A dash of strict rules, to keep you in line,to assure good moral values are remembered from time to time.....
A tablespoon of kisses, at least one a day,
to let you know you are loved and always will be for forever and a day.....
A teaspoon full of responsability, to assure you can make it on your own,
Will make me proud you're my son/daughter,and I will rest easy when I'm gone.....
Combine all these ingrediants, stir in alot of love,
let raise for 18 years and you'll have a child you can be very proud of.....

~lewisone~ - you have written many tender words about momma, only wish it could have been the same. Very nice, to be treasured...

This sounds like an excellent recipe, lewisone.
And I bet that none of her kids came out half baked either.
Great job!  the recipe and the poem too!
