Another Chance In Time

Well the time it came and went
As the passings often do
But there was more than just a thought
For one as sweet as you

The rhymes they filled the air
With friendship and with love
Of kisses sent from heaven
On wings of angel dove

So we raise our glasses high
Filled with love's sweet wine
And toast the of hope man
For another chance in time

And as the chorus rings out loud
Through the deafening cheer
My thoughts they slowly drift away
Quietly wishing you were here

hmm..this one has a familiar feel...i guess bringing in a new year tends to make one wish not to be alone..always good to have a friend or significant other along for a good hug and/or kiss...

really great write eddie..!
