Irish Blest
~~~
These days are clasp
to many hands
so many a friend
I'm blest
Nary a smile
nor fleeting min
this cheery ol' heart regrets
~
I must confess
I am content
to call these days
my home
but
thank the muse
let me Irish loose
to simplify this poem
~
This simple vest
Hey! it's Irish blest
with luck
and love
and leisure
May the best in cheer
test the comming year
God bless us with a pleaser
~~~

*giggling* I love it. I am Irish on my fathers side but keep the name I have for the sake of my daughter. I am a Mc Neil by birth so I love this little Irish poem. BRAVO!!!

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

I love this Rex. And not just because I’m half Irish (my mother was a Dempsey). May the next year bring us all much love, peace and happiness. Saliente.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
