I hear the melody of a bluebird
within weeping clouds of heartbreak
but true love always prevails
washing away memories of heartache

Feel mother nature's hand of sunshine
gently stroke the forehead of the morn
feel love anew bloom within your teardrops
an umbrella of happiness is reborn

Remove misty sunglasses from weary eyes
let us see the reflection of your soul
as you bask in tenderness of love
upon melting lips, love will softly stroll

Open your heart to treasures of the sea
a ruby everlasting, you are to me

*Dedicated to a special friend*

This is a touching gift to your friend, Victoria. I'm sure it will be appreciated. The images in here are very nice, especially the line about Mother Nature's hand of sunshine. Well done!

God bless America, my home sweet home.

A beautiful poem that carries the hope so many need. Very nice Victoria.

I'd be remiss if I didn't respond to such a  beautiful poem, ~V~:

So pleasing are the rhythmic words
melodies that hold the weep
single notes that keep me true
to loving friends, whose touch runs deep.

I thank you for the "feel" you send
surrounding warmth, support each morn
the tenderness, this side of you
that rises best in me, reborn.

I hear the melody of all,
removing mist from weary eyes
the fading hurt, to reign no more
I open up to rainbow skies.

I treasure you, of heart that's pure
In friendship everlasting, more.

wishing we were in Vegas...Have a wonderful New Year
