Too much to do today to be away,
Too short the time that we can share alone,
Too large the crowds that fill the malls today,
Too long the wait till I get you back home.

To be with you in the candle’s glowing,
To see just you and you to be with me,
To tell you of the love inside growing,
To keep for me only all your beauty.

Two hands holding one another gently,
Two hearts beating strong together always,
Two eyes looking so soft and intently,
Two minds alike in so many of ways.

Tomorrow comes and you take to the sky,
Till you return with you my heart does fly.
