The lines that move when you're in the groove
the paths your psyche takes when on the make;
the trendy graphic patterns of this world
make me sometimes lie in bed curled.

Not that I'm afraid of a new turn
for the line I follow has been learned....
I see a need for reconciliation
as we do better at propagation.

Disseminating information has had its success
the streams of unemployed are under duress;
the rule of thumb is to network your lines
if you plug in late your life is fined.

The cords we take do get twisted
like phone-lines dangling and sometimes unlisted;
the longer it takes to relay a straight message
as pen and ruled paper are but a vestige.

Complete automation is the thing
enter computer class gentry, taking pawns like kings;
and cultured folk have been keen to depose
old lines of thought now kept on repose.

It is technocracy that has changed our routes
as lines of clothes ship out through chutes;
the rank and file we knew by their collars
have been substituted by inventions paid by dollars.

The graphic pattern of a old world lines
a stenciled mark on bygone shrines;
kiss good-bye the familiar sidewalk curbs
enter into the cyber-world of techy computer nerds

yes, sometimes I really like this computer stuff, other times, I'm afraid of where it might lead to. I liked this very much

thanks for your compliments, but I am a realist..you might think me cynical for my last statement..anyway I write deeply of subjects that are not so popular, so such subject matter is easy to slide out of sight.
