I know this is a little late in getting to everyone, but please enjoy it just the same...
                 My Christmas Angel

As I walked the aisles of my store, seeming very cold,
A customer moved towards me, such a sight to behold.
In front of me stood a woman, tall and narrow frame.
Her eyes were bright, and with that smile, I didn’t ask her name.
She looked just like an angel, surrounded by such peace,
As others scuffled by her, the smile didn’t cease.
She said, “Hello, how are you?” her voice just lingered on.
And as she spoke to all around, it seemed to be a song.
I responded with hello, and Merry Christmas too,
But as her eyes looked into mine, I asked,  do I know you?
Your face, it seems familiar, and that voice, I’ve heard before,
I just can’t seem to place it, but we’ve talked before, I’m sure.
Her smile more immense now, her eyes lit up like fire,
Looking deep into her eyes, of this, I’d never tire.
She wrapped me in her arms and on her shoulder rested my head,
As she spoke in that angelic voice, I’ll never forget what she said…
I am your Christmas angel, sent from God above,
To initiate the spirit, and fill your heart with love.
My voice you’ve heard so many times, as you were on bended knee,
The arms that held you closely and consoled you then was me.
And now as I look in your eyes, I see the spirit there,
The true meaning of Christmas, I leave with you to share.

Thank you very much Peaches, happy you enjoyed it.  Part of this story really took place at my work on Christmas Eve and I guess that's what makes it so special to me.
Thank you again for your kind words and God Bless in the coming year....

It's never too late to share such a heartwarming story. It doesn't have to be Christmas to care and share.

Thank you for sharing...
