As my heart beats to the powerful drums of Kitaro,
And Tangerine Dreams hold me tight this cold night,
I hear Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata,
And as The Tide Rushes In,
Can U2 hear my beating heart?
Imagine if All The People
wanted to Hold Your Hand.
Would you Let It Be?
For if Love Is The Seventh Wave,
we can Fly Like An Eagle,
or soar On The Wings of A Snow White Dove,
and even Catch a Falling Star.
Let It Be,
Let It Be.
Let there be Peace in the Valley,
Let there be Heaven On Earth,
We Need It Now.

Thank you to all the wonderful songwriters and musicians who have written words of Love and Peace to all humanity, and may we all sing these words of Love and Peace in harmony.

May the ripple of LOVE
become the wave of PEACE

Lauren, so nice to have you visit my Medley. It's true, if these words could be played every day around the world, and acted upon, perhaps the direction the world seems to be taking would change. I worry about the world we offer to our children, and some days, I fear for the very survival of our species.

I like the way you did this Kacy. Some great tunes here, each with a message of their own, all wrapped up to form your own message. Very cool. If each of us brings a little peace and love into the hearts of others, one by one, we can make the world a better place.

CLAPPING WILDLY!!! BRAVO!!! Yes, love and harmony is what our world needs, and is life's simple creed, just like Live sings. (smiles) Soooooooo wonderfully written, sweet friend, we all love you so much! I hope you had the most merriest Christmas! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

JM. thank you, and I like that peaceful picture. Yes, we said that every day during the 60's, and need to start saying it again and keep saying it every day.
Tracey, yes, if each one of us could just act out these messages daily. Imagine...
Larry, thank you sweet friend. Peace.
Sy, *sigh* yes, the sun doesn't set in the summer. The sky may be dark right now, but not my heart.
Opeth, thanks. We can all do with more Peace.
Noah, keep shouting your messages of Love and Peace, don't stop, not even for a day.

Very creative.  Being a music fan myself, I enjoyed this very much.  I think John Lennon said it best though, with his song "Imagine."

Dave, thanks for the reply. Yes, Lennon left us with words of Love to live by. Imagine if the peoples of the world could learn to live as one. That would be a world worth passing on to future generations.

Liz, thank you for your kind reply. I had about 20 more titles to go in this, but didn't want to overburden the basic message.
Glad to inspire a  HUMMMM.

Long John, thanks you, you big cuddly kitty-lover in disguise.

What a lovely idea, combining all these songs into a poem. I am still hoping for peace..but it seems so far away.
Maybe 2002 will be better.

Sandra, that's what we all must do is hope, and work each day in our own private way to 'Give Peace a Chance.'
