Spring...the refreshing moment given to the earth.
The warmth of the air, the softness of the rains.
Birds flying endlessly, mates making straw nests.
Love abounds in the morning light..

Though the time of year becomes one of love..
my heart does not contain this joy.

Though the birds mate, the animals frolic...
the urge to share love does not find love...

I feel the loss of Winter upon me.
My Autumn stirs are now frozen waste.
Summers of my life long ago quelled by age.
My Springs are now one of beauty lost.

Give to me again the passions of my Summers.
Temper them with the softness, wisdom of my Falls.
Keep my Winters at bay during moments cold..
For my desires for Spring have not yet waned.

This is so lovely, but....

"Give to me again the passions of my Summers.
Temper them with the softness, wisdom of my Falls."

I LOVE this part

I've always believed that every person has a "season" that is them,if you will.  Mine is autumn.  I believe I understand this poem.

Kathleen (Kay)
"When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey."

Sue...thank you...and don't we all wish we
could again experience the spring of our
lives...when we were young...yet tempered
by the wisdom of our Fall/Autumn...

(sigh) So well-expressed, sweet friend, we must always cherish and nurture spring in our hearts, for the beauty of love and innocence shines within, and have flowers of hope bud in every winter we feel. (big hugggsssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I hope you had the happiest holidays! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
