Soft tangy smell of lost winter leaves
Long discarded from the treetops high
Smoke lilts on breast of December breeze
Curls lazy to darken flush pink sky.

Red sky at morning is sailors warn
Laid bare by the north-east’s moaning winds
A soft white snowdrop is gently born
This birth represents our mortal sins.

Jesus was born to us; Christ the child
In stable cold that was meant for sheep
To the Virgin Mary, a mother mild
This Saviour Lord would our future keep.

On this Christmas day give God our praise
For sending down his beloved son
Let us live in peace the coming days
That we make this earth a better one.
AMEN!

Amen, and Merry Christmas.

There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar.
