       “CHRISTMAS THOUGHTS”
                        by

It was Christmas Eve day this morning,
didn’t write a poem yet, had a reason…
My being didn’t feel like it, until now,
I just wasn’t into the words, this season…

Wasn’t sure what it was, bothering me,
perhaps it’s because of, being today…
Whatever it is, I still wanted to write,
a few words, which I would like to convey…

I wish all of my friends, on Passions,
a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year…
For the people whom I love, the very same,
and by the way to all, many loads of cheer…

So in closing, I still don’t know what it is,
as I travel life’s road, on this highway…
Perhaps it’s peace, and serenity I need,
and to be content within, on this special day…

Merry Christmas to you too, Bill...

Yes, I think peace, serenity and contentment is enough to make one as happy as can be... I wish you'll find all three...

Bill,

I hope your Christmas was as wonderful as it could be.  And I hope the remainder of your holiday season is just as good

Bill,
For someone who didn't want to write, you got a wonderful response. Happy New Year.

*sigh* I very much share your feelings, dear man. I tend to try and lose myself in others and then I don't have to feel what is really inside of me. My wish for you in the coming year is that you not only find peace and serenity within yourself but you find the love that will bring the joy back into your heart and soul. **big Christmas hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

BC
The holiday season is a time for reflection of the past year and the future and you have captured this in your writing.  Inspired or not, it did come through.

Yes, these holidays are spent for creating and re-living great memories over the course of that last year and even throughout our lives, it is an emotional time, but also a happy time.  I thought this was a great write, just sometimes we need a break to relax.  I felt the same a couple of days ago.
