~ Smiles ~

For Passions Poets

I asked my friend Santa for a special gift today
I asked him to send some extra smiles my way
He said he’d oblige me but he needed some aid
So he sent me to read the rhymes that you’ve made
He said browse to your hearts content, feel free
And I must say that you have given smiles to me
Santa sent his wishes and said well done to you
And then added have a Happy Holiday too

Do you recall the Smile’s Fairy? She came on by
And said tell all those poetic poets that I said Hi
She said they are sending their love all around
Tell them I’ve been hearing it’s very cheery sound
Say to them there’s nothing nicer than smiles
They wrap hearts in love across the countless miles
Give them my very best and tell them write on
They gift the world with beauty and hearts song

I spoke to the Sunbeams they were playing about
They said tell those poets that they let us all out
We are the dreams that sit deep within a heart
And when they write they release us and we do our part
We leap from dream to dream and scatter love
We sprinkle the joy we’ve gathered from up above
They say thank you for making these pages shine
And I repeat the message you Passions poets are so fine

Marsha>

This is just a little smile from me, thank you dear friends, have a fabulous Christmas, and a wonderful New Year. May Peace shine over our world and may we all live, as they always do in the best fairy stories, Happily ever after.

This is my antidote to all those tears, I've cried my last, be happy and continue to be the wondrous people you are
Happy  Holidays

To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1

That was beautiful.  It was a Christmas card full of the most enjoyable words.  And here's a little note for you - I think your love is awesome too.  Merry Christmas.  your friend, Roger

This is such a pretty blessing, Marsha
I especially liked this part.

And when they write they release us and we do our part

I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Marsha - Will you just stop crying already, please just stop it.lol   This was truly enjoyable, but I must say the last stanza was my favorite.  You are so very good, and I hope you enjoy the holidays as well.  Well, I hope you at least stop crying long enough to enjoy them.lol

Kari darling sister of my heart, only two egg nogs? Actually I prefer Baileys. This is England darling girl egg nog isn't as popular here as it is there. I think we go in for more Mulled wine. Although anyone offering it to me would get a swift clump round the ear. What a thing to do to good wine.... ugh But if they offer me a Baileys now that's different

Have a fabulous New Year
