Of all the nations that are round
politics can go around;
but if a nation comes up square
then their policies are hard to bare.

In the shape of nations to become
in the spirit of war heros, unsung;
I see as one great nation divides the earth
lesser states are losing their mirth.

Am not a turbaned man at a crystal ball
looking into see what might be our downfall,
just read a news report on terrorism tonight
sketched political maps, got me up in a fright.

Much of the world is covered by discontent
lurid regimes steam with increased global rent,
there are even fewer nations to go around
where terrorist organizations do not abound.

Next year trend will see new power plays
seven nations will feign mastery of the day;
their conceit will be hard to conceal
and  foreign involvement will be a further ordeal.

Hello Nostradamus!
poetic poetry is one thing... prophesy in poetry is quite another. I like what you did with this. A little bit of forthtelling.

I would like to echo Keth on this one, Martin.....I think you are Nostradamus II.
You are a very wise prophet...and I like your picture too!
