I settled upon the laughing grass
that focused my attention away
my sight unseeing all along
could not believe the angels song.
I winced at the pain they made
inside my mind was begining
to stare at the colors of the wind
to follow the languished tides again.
I heard the laughter in the air
but the ground seemed to keep me here
understanding I am all but lost
I felt the urgency to get up and walk.
