Non sequitur

Non sequitur of true and false
Hinges the door of paradise.
The swing is like a dance, a waltz
A beat of slow and sound advice

They say discussion clears the wear
To release the dogma of mad
A pressure valve that drains the air
To relinquish the core of sad

Then lucid moments fly about
Enter into the music score.
They make you bow away your doubt
And open up your eyes once more.

You must learn the confidence game
The rules are non sequitur blue
You file them in your mind of aim
And learn about the false of true.

Be there a man with soul so dead
That has not changed his mind in bed?

When you wrap your wit & wisdom in rhyme the words non sequitur never come to mind.
very very cool poem Stinky ...
those closing couplets are worth their weight in poetic gold.
Love the word play in this ...
(and the poet who's playing)
*ww* me

You're the hidden cost and the thing that's lost in everything I do.
Thats the way love is ... sky blue and black.

I feel the tantalizing draw of bringing back my own non-sequiter romance...and I just might do that...

I note a hint of melancholy, but I would think that all be jolly for the Moth has come on by to join the dance of butterfly...

(smiles) There are times when we feel terribly melancholy inside, but there will always be silver linings in every inch of gray, and lucid thoughts will always fill our mind with confidence and joy! (big hugggsssssss) Wonderfully emotional, sweet friend, we all love you so much! (big huggssssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

"Then lucid moments fly about

   Then more lucid notes  *sigh*
   followed by the the crescendo,
"Be there a man with soul so dead
That has not changed his mind in bed?"
