He washed my soul in invisible ink
Touching my heart with unwritten re-think
Penning poetic soft sensual sighs
With new vocabulary, for my eyes

Each word a new sensation, intense feel
Emotional lettering, in reveal
Language formed in touchings upon my skin
Versing this old ache dwelling deep within

Volumes of knowledge spilled forth from his well
Utterly erasing, protective shell
Evoking expression, unknown in me
Reading now aloud, unashamedly

It is with muse I do sweetly compose
Secrets of my heart in passionate prose

I know that I replied to this before, in fact, on other threads I have replied, but those replies have disappeared or never registered, I don't get it.

Anway, with that said,

"Volumes of knowledge spilled forth from his well
Utterly erasing, protective shell

I loved those two lines most of all in this excellent write.

You have expressed the inspiration of real art, I think.  And in a very good sonnnet.  Excellent all around.

Very, very nice, SEA! You paid great attention to the proper syllable count and, if you work on the iambic verse a bit, you will write sonnets as good as anyone.

Fine job here...
