If there were but
one drop of dew
in rainbow field
of sparkling hue,
on hands and knees,
beyond Pride's yield--
Know you, now--I would find you.

I do not care for wishes, grant...
However, sweet, is sweet romance...
Bodies--all, they pass away.
Forever--I have felt this way.
You remain connecting piece
to puzzle of eternity.

My heart is but a sacrifice;
and if I could, I'd offer twice--
"Receive this blade,"
the virgin prayed,
"for nothing else, will now suffice..."

(still another repost, but this one is a solstice present for a friend, so forgive me, forum?)

and pssst....to my friend...

"Virgins? VIRGINS? We don't need no stinkin' virgins!" ROFLMAO....they are highly over-rated anyhow!

I was really enjoying this, and then you throw in the virgin rant.  Ha, ha.  This is good.

I have noticed that you have an original style, one that is all your own, at least from my perspective, that is. And I may say that I am impressed with your style of poetry.

Kay, I thank you, as always for your kindness. Yer a doll!

Noah...sweet of you! smiling. Thank you my friend!

mm? was I RANTING? LOL...I'd say it were a case of sour grapes, but it is difficult for me to remember! Thank you! (oops, that read bad! FOR THE RECORD: I am NOT thanking mirror man for the loss of my virginity! LOL)

Sandra...thank you for the good wishes and reply! It's going nicely by the way. (Solstice is actually a threeday thing for me! I'll have to explain that one to you some time!) Love to you, lovely lady!

Elizabeth, it always pleases me to know that you've read and enjoyed. I thank you, gratefully.

Michael? Are you sure you enjoyed the poem, or just the IDEA of virgin sacrifice? LOL back atchya! hugs.

Opeth...I thank you for reading. I like "original"--grinning here---so much more positive than "weird"! Thanks again!

and wow to Marsha...thanks for popping in! You've my humble gratitude...

and my own  twin JM---yes, it's that time of year again--making wishes, taking self inventory and redefining goals...gotta watch the fire dances though, (the new house is deeper in the Burbs--AND it doesn't help that it was his dad's house...who happened to be a retired captain of the fire department!) It's okay tho, the boyfriend is understanding of my witchy habits, (read that as SCARED)--lol--SO...he bought me an outdoor fireplace so I don't get arrested...gotta keep the clothes on too...at least outdoors, he said! *wink*
Love to you girlie, and love to the forum...

Sleepy Goddess tonight!
