Mood

Blue picks up the temper of sound
Deep specter of the trees surround
The twisting dancing leaves of green
Instruments of the midnight scene

The brook run crystal o‘er the rocks
Percussion sound like ticking clocks
And shining eyes stared out the stark
Life’s greenish orbs that light the dark.

From blue to bluer darkness grew
Before the wet of mornings dew
The moon spew silver through the clouds
And dressed the trees in ghostly shrouds.

There’s magic in the dark of night
Where phantoms live without the light.
And worlds of mystery there are born
Before the coming of the dawn

It is a world of shaman awe
That stretches into layman lore

JM,
