I sometimes hurt inside
My feelings so deep
Often I've cried

I love you darling
With my heart
and my soul
I need to say it
These feelings are so powerful
and inextinguishable
I can't within me hold

You say I'm very sensative
with that I must agree
I have deep powerful emotions
Passion, love, ardor, desire
With little outlet to let them go
The longing within me
Burns like a fire

I want to let my feelings out
With you,
I want to set them free
Please honey,
this is who I am
Let me just be me

You say your afraid
to see me hurt
but every time
you ask me not to
let my feelings go
a little bit of me
is squashed inside

The harder I try
to hold inside what I feel
the deeper the hurt
the more I want to cry
I know you fear
that I will feel pain
if I hold you too dear

Please, just let me
love you freely and
if a day comes when
it's not right for us

at least I can say
I loved fully and freely
and if that sad day comes
I will morn the end
Pick up the pieces
and love another day

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Benita, I cried reading this, your heart cries with such yearning to express how you feel. (sad sigh) I believe that the most beautiful think you could do is to release emotions and cry when you need to, for if someone forces you to hide them, it can only hurt more when you have no one to express how you really feel too and keeping the tears to yourself! (sad sigh) I for one am very happy to be sensitive and cry in tears when I feel sad, for I believe love should be all about feeling for someone and making one feel special! (sad sigh) I pray with all my heart that he can understand how you feel and love you for who you are, for you deserve the most beautiful pure love of all! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet Benita, this was so very touching! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Benita, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Love should be free.  Isn't it amazing how many want to control it and change it?  Beautiful capture of words here!!!

this is beautiful. If he doesn't surrender, I'll be surprised!!!

I am touched by your poem. There is a need in all of us to share. Your lonliness and sorrow seem too great to bear. Love conquers all and will someday replace your emptiness and coldness with warmth and companionahip.

My heart goes out to you.

Sincerely,

Steve

hey that was steve's 1st post! welcome to passions steve!! I must say this poem is well deserving of somebody's 1st post. I think you've captured your feelings well.. Mistletoe Angel is right, you really do have a great passion to let out and convey what you feel inside. Let the fire burn
