Trying To Survive

Sometimes it feels as though the sun is lost
Seeking shelter behind the dismal clouds
Things seem so cold, outlined with heavy frost
The wind pounding against my weakened soul

Hope I try to hold close becomes smaller
Life's cruel sense of humor kicking me down
I straighten my back… try to stand taller
Even strongest wills can endure so much

Sometimes it just feels like I’m in a hole
Struggling… fighting to find my way out
Try to survive and save this tattered soul
Not to crumble and accept this sad loss

My heart lies heavy inside of my chest
I know I have love, and I am grateful
But with this long winding path and life’s jest
I feel lost… buried…  and so alone.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Tara, I know you are going through a difficult time right now, and my heart goes out to you always! (sigh) You have a very loving heart, sweet friend, and as long as you continue to share your love to all and believe in yourself, you will be greeted with love and cheer in return! (smiles) We all love you so much, sweet friend, you are an angel to us all! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tara, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I'm always amazed how hard this time of year can be for a lot of people. . .

I think that you just spoke for a lot of them. . . well done. . . and remember, it's never dark in the light. . .
