Tempus Fugit

Can you tell me how and why
As we age so time flys?
I can remember when I was young
How the summer sun forever hung
As if fixed in an a bright blue sky
And summer holidays once begun
A timeless course would seem to run
Yet now, as quite as a lovers sigh
Time flys ,I wonder why?

Because we find so many new and interesting people in our life to do things with...well, at least that's one reason!  Merry Christmas, Arthur!

Michael~Um, because time flys when you're having fun?  I'm not sure but I have noticed the same thing...maybe we're getting older?  Now, I am going to have to contemplate this one all day!!
Good write sire!

mmmmmm I always think it is because I am so much busier now. *grin* I remember when scientists promised us more leisure time...seems people are more busy now than ever before. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

(sigh) We may never know exactly why time flies, but as long as we always follow our hearts and have fun and enjoy life, time will fly smoothly as it should. (smiles) Such a wonderful thoughtful perspective, dearest friend, hmmmmmmmmm, makes me think even more! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Arthur, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Time. It is relevant to some extent. I sometimes have more than I need, other times not enough. On my last day here I'm sure I'll go out screaming that I didn't have enough of it.
