I was there three weeks, and saw all there was
to see. I even picked up a lot of the words
they use, like "pound" and "lorry," "oui oui,"
"wunderbar!" and "W.C." And I'm sure
I'd have learned to speak foreign real well,
if I'd stayed a few weeks more.

But France was uncomfortable, England dull,
   and Germany a big bore,
so that by the time I got to Italy,
we couldn't take any more. --Three weeks are
just too much time to spend
   on only six countries -
you see, we passed through Liechtenstein and
   Australia, too.

So to fill out the time, if you go, I strongly
recommend that you just take a week or two --
or add on at least a couple more countries --
   Monaco and Russia might do.

But, as the Poet once said:
". . . to see the Universe in a grain of sand!"
   He was right, you know!
-- Except for Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon,
and of course the Sears Tower in Chicago,
you can see just about everything you'd ever
want to see right here in the City of Rockford --
if, of course, you add on all the fine natural things
you can see out in there in Rockland County, too!

But travel does make you more cultured -- ?it
educates you, gives you a broader perspective!
-- You don't want to forget that!
   -- You don't ever want
   to forget that!
