~ Lessons In Life …….. A Soul Discovery ~

I reread something that I wrote a year ago now
And it showed me the difference in me and how
Back then when you were the man in my life
I was beset with troubles and harried by strife
I was alone, so confused and hopelessly lost
And slow to realise that I couldn’t bear the cost
My soul was nailed on a plank in deep pain
And my heart was washed by tears endless rain

When I look back I can’t believe that was really me?
Because I’m a different soul now I’m so happy
My mind isn’t messed with I know who is me
It’s wonderful and magical I’m loved totally
There’s no need to question it I know its true
I know that I’ll never again feel sad or blue
How did I do it what was my soul discovery?
I needed first of all to discover the truth about me

It’s silly really you’d think we know it all
But we don’t you know that’s where we all fall
We struggle with our thoughts and fight HIS plan
And think the answer can be discovered by man
But inside our souls if we care to look within
Is a spark of divinity that’s covered by skin
Learn from the lessons in life and learn them well
And you will be released from your personal hell

As for my love he is mine to have eternally
I love him and he quite simply worships me
The person who wrote those verses has now gone
The me who was, has grown up and moved on
Now I’ll take the chance to thank you for this
With you I learnt the touch of falsehoods kiss
You taught me much that I didn’t want to know
And I’ve learnt that truth will itself always show

Marsha

This is wonderful and full of strength, Marsha, yes, lessons are hard at times and looking back does no good.  Only adds to the pain.

Very forceful show of your great faith and love.  It was so worthwhile to read.  God Bless You Forever, you've blossomed from seed.  Roger
