An Intimate Chauvinistic Confession
By Larry Chadwick

I suppose it is about time to confess,
Of intimate thoughts racing in my mind.
It’s when you pass me by with that look,
Little time is spent watching your behind.

As pleasant as I’m sure that would be,
My focus is completely on your hair.
The style with which it has been done,
That you have primped with so much care.

There are the highlights and the hues,
A special style done with hair pieces.
The bounce with which it will fall,
When you pull the pin and your hair releases.

It may be curly and respond with a bounce,
Or it may be light and blow in the breeze.
Just the fact that it is even there,
Is enough to function as a tease.

All your assets that give you your charm,
Those eyes that even reveal you’re whole.
None really compare to the impact of your hair,
If I muss your hair I’ve touched your soul.

The past is history and the future is a mystery, but today is a gift and that is why it is the present!

One of the most hair-raising poems I have ever read...sounds like a permanent relationship!

Balladeer,
ROTFLMAO I never cease to enjoy your presence here. I even like your point of view, but if you part your hair just right nobody will notice.

Magnus,
Sorry pal. But I already gave my ponytail away. May have been gray enough though. LOL

ROTFL, this is good, and the replies are so funny! Hair, the musical? I like the way you describe hair Larry. Maybe you should be in a Clairol commercial.   What color would you choose?

Kacy,
Actually, my son harrassed me unmercifully for all my gray hair, years ago. So I colored it natural with a product that implied it would rinse out rather quickly, NOT! Anyway, shocked him into silence and we have both enjoyed the gray ever since.

When I cut my hair real short I asked my beautician if I could tip it. She said the only color that would work is gray and they don't make it as nobody wants it. Ouch! LOL

I worked hard for this gray hair and I'm gonna keep it.

I have always said.....two kind of MEN that I love the most are ones in UNIFORM, and ones that respect the sacredness of a girls HAIR-DOO!!!  (not to mention running his fingers trough it now and again)...haha

A wonderful write Larry.

Not chauvinistic Larry. This is really great. We ladies do spend a lot of time on our tresses and it's nice to know when you guys appreciate it. A great confession indeed.

If I muss your hair I’ve touched your soul.

We now know where you weakness lies! Boy are you in trouble.

Sincerely,
Regina

This was a great read Larry. I held out until just last year and finally gave in to colouring my hair when a co-worker commented on what lovely highlights my hair had (that was the grey, lol). That did it!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Loved this!! I'll make a confession, I like balding men so hair doesn't do much for me - and if it's graying, all the better. Look at Sean Connery!!

rebekah,
Gotta know there are exceptions!

faterider,
Fetish? Who said anything about fetish...oh, that's right you did.

timothysangel,
Can't say the uniform will get me, but the hair will!

Regina,
And you know I live for trouble!

/Kit,
See now, I'm not afraid of grey. Even yours. But gotta love a woman who cares about her hair!

Victoria,
I would love to have had that much access to the ladies hair. But I gotta make a living!

Noah,
You clever guy! Thanks.

Poet deVine,
At least I have the greying part down.

sodpossom,
Could have never guessed. NOT!

dor,
Especially in those blue denim short-shorts! LOL

Not chauvinistic at all. I can relate to this Larry, and it’s great seeing it from a guys perspective. I spend a good deal of time on my hair, so I’m a sucker for a guy that notices and appreciates it. Hell, for the right one, I’ll even let him muss it up!!! Lol

Larry you are just too much!  Leave it to you to make me laugh so hard I almost....well, you can touch my hair and muss it up anytime you want....*strange fetish*, but one heck of a nice guy!

Note to Magnus~You can have some of mine since I seem to have an overabundance...if you prefer red that is.
Great fun Larry!

Nancy Lee,
Who started this fetish talk?! So if I'm a butt man does that give me a butt fetish? I think not. LOL However, I'm making note of that offer.

Well, this poem distracted most people from that fact. But so much fun that it has been just fine. Thanks for noticing!

Peaches,
The challenges we all endure! You know Magnus and Poet deVine have a common link now. LOL Maybe he is changing his mind about the need for hair!
