My earth angel softly whispered
"Is he worthy of you my dear?"
and I listened with a heavy heart

an angel whispered "Oh! no.. no.. no"
"ride the waves of indecision
or you will drown in an ocean of tears"

you are there but here with me
a light wrapped around my soul
hugging me everywhere I roam
I see your tiny fingerprints
upon my golden comb
sometimes upon my windowpane
when I am all alone

an image of you combing your hair
beside the night light in my room
a silken strand of blonde hair
upon my pillow.. satin white
an earth angel is watching over me
from sunrise to moonlight

you are there but here with me
watching out for my destiny
my earth angel..my angel of love

Thank you Larry..actually i wrote this the day before yesterday..and just added that one line in...i wasnt going to post it until i saw the challenge and i thought it fit the bill haa...
