Misadventures Of Me

Lost and alone it seems
buried by time forgot
I travel through my dreams
a worry I have not

Fields of fresh green cut grass
crumple at my feet
walking where no one has
never someone to meet

Reciting magic spells
to conjure up a friend
instead forming wishing wells
and wish time never end

Candied flowers grow tall
rainbows gleam from the sea
someday my life may call ...
misadventures of me

Simple minded they say
not to be very well
if only the could play ...
the stories they would tell!

*sigh* the way your heart reaches out to everyone there is no way I would think of misadventures when it comes to you, dear one. You have shown the deep magic of love that fills your heart and soul spilling forth in rhyme time and again to flow into our hearts always leaving some of your very special magic behind. *sigh* you sure have me going with this one..the tales I could tell of the beauty of your heart and soul for you have blessed me with the touch of friendship you so freely give. **big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Not exactly hiding Les... growing would fit.
You will see for yourself that Passions carries its weight in gold.

Thank you Kit ...
I thought perhaps it sounded a bit too much like childsplay, then I realized that that was what I was trying to describe.
Amazing how we forget how easy life can really be.  **s

Craig, I saw this long lonely walk and someone at the end of the path to make it less so.
(I always see my own situation in your poems..can't help it)
Did I say I love this??

IWIHWT That is a really cool line! I'm having a few glitchy problems with my email lately. Hope to send you a holiday card tomorrow. Tonight I'm so busy finishing off some White Zinfandel I may not get those cards done. Candied flowers. YUM. I've made candied pansies before, they are both pretty and tasty. LOL, I need to run for a snack now.
