~ A Christmas Message ~

It’s Christmas, that unique time of year again
When we re ignite that special spirit’s flame
The one where we are more tolerant than before
When we ignore the crowds and wish for more
When we band together in a whirl of gaiety
And we tire ourselves out with preparing to party
But remember as you enjoy your Christmas cheer
That there are many that don’t celebrate this year

Spare a thought as you go on your merry way
About the ones who won’t see this Christmas day
Send a prayer of thanks that you’ve come through
That you’ve met the challenge that you are you
Spare a thought for those whose hearts still cry
For those who are desperate and wish they’d die
Give them a gift send them a prayer, a little love
Ask HIM to send them an angel from up above

Give out the most precious gift, a gift of hope
Offer them a hand ask them if they can cope
HE gave us his son, let’s recall that and smile
And treasure our friend’s hand once in a while
Give love it’s a present that will last eternally
Or at least until time and space cease to be
HE gives us choice, choose to offer love to all
Choose to assist if one of his children do fall

Carry the message of Christmas in your heart
Keep it all through the year don’t let it depart
Spread love, not hate, and offer hope not tears
We should walk in HIS light not shake with fears
Don’t let the Christmas spirit fade away and die
Live your life with joy we weren’t meant to cry
Reach out to everyone touch those around you
Let’s keep the Christmas spirit the whole year through

Marsha

Marsha, if I were there I would give you a big hug and a box of chocolates and a rose.
You are so special to me and I am glad you have returned to these blue pages.  Somehow, it still feels like home doesn't it?

much love for a blessed Christmas season to you and yours.

Yes, we need to always remember the ones who have not made it this far. I have a request, I saw a young man on Oprah today, who is very ill and when asked what he wanted for Christmas, he said if its not too much trouble, would you pray for me?
So please pray for Mattie, this sweet boy.
Thanks for your positive and strong messages of love.

Thank you all so much for reading this and replying, I know that the Christmas message will ring eternally in your beautiful hearts. Each one of you are special and here in this magical place you are a special gift. Your words lift spirits and make hearts dance, you summon up smiles and you summon tears. Keth this means you, and we all lknow why you do it. It's a deliberate ploy so you can present me to the world with red rimmed eyes and a blotchy face. And also you dear 'Deer, what have a done to you so that I am left teary eyed? Hmmmmm. I'll forgive you but only because you are a superb writer. Keth on the other hand must pay a penance, I'll think of something suitable you see if I don't, darling girl.  You'll be sorry.

Happy Christmas
to all of you
