Trouble By: Noah Eaton 12/14/01 Am I trouble to all of you? Am I just a nuisance? Am I a fool without a clue? Do you think I’m stupid?  I never meant to do anyone wrong I never meant to cause trouble I just want to speak friendship’s song Or is my heart just fuddled?  Should I ever open my mouth again? Would I only misunderstand? Do I deserve to be loved? Should I detach from this circle of hands?  Am I just a stupid thing? (big hugggssss) Oh thank you so much, sweet Susan, for your beautiful reply. I felt like writing this poem after reading a response to anothers poem to a comment I made with the smileys I always use that I think made the poet upset, and I couldn't help but think if I was a bad influence to you and everyone else here too. (sigh) I never meant to make anyone feel upset, for I love everyone here so much and only use smileys as a sign of affection and friendship, nothing more. Noah, they've put up with me and i've been more trouble than most!! You certainly are not. Can I say something? I think it takes a lot of courage to splash your feelings out here like this, but honey, it takes a toll. Noah: You should never feel sorry for who you are, I am new here and you all embraced me sometimes warmer than most r/l friends and family, and for that I truly adore each and every person I have gotten to know here. Dont EVER change, I was troubled by the remark that was harshly given to you as well, and for that I couldnt help but comment through my write (A Cyber Affair) Please take comfort knowing people around you like you for you and never want you to change your warmth in your heart. Noah, you are a good, kind, decent person. You embody the spirit of this poetry site. If your comments lean toward a little over-exuberance at times, you do it in the spirit of friendship and love for all with no ulterior motives. Please don't change. Noah...I agree totally with what Balladeer said...You are a young man...the way you reply sometimes makes some people feel you are overly responsive....too flowery...but they just don't know that you are who you are....and that is how you are...IT IS OK.. We all feel you write beautifully. For your age...you write exceptionally.. Spend less time worrying about what people might think of you...think more of the gift that you have...and I think most of us understand that you are a very warm and genuine young man... That has never been doubted by me... Temper your replies a little bit...less flowery maybe...but don't stop giving the heartfelt thoughts you have...they are appreciated... You are appreciated too. |

Noah, I am not here nearly as much as I'd like to be anymore and have somewhat faded into the scenery, but I watch and read and reply when I can and I believe you have a very sweet soul. And that is what matters. I am young like yourself (you're 18 too, correct?) and sometimes the way we see the world can be different than others. There's nothing wrong with that, but sometimes it can serve us well to tread lightly and make sure we're being kind and not accidently sending the wrong message to others. Like I said, I can see how sweet and how beautiful your spirit seems to be and I hope that you will continue to post and show how sincere your heart is. If they could see what I see in you, then they would see a very caring, mature, loving young man! You can't change who you are, but you sure can ignore who they are, and be the better person right? You add a lot to the forums and your exuberant postings (that I am sure take a lot of time to complete) are well meant and heart-warming Noah.
