Rattle and Prattle

The keys make rattle with the prattle of my mind
They wake a web of cobweb, a tattle of a kind
To catch a butterfly that caught a poet’s sigh
To bring her closer to the wonder of my eye

I see her on the run flipping colors in the sun
Collector of the nectar of flowers one by one
How beautiful the hues that dance the morning’s dew
There is no better peaceful, than butterflies in view.

They flit and they sit and they spore a dance of awe
Floating in the heavens and resting on the floor
There are times in dreams I too soar up to fly
And rest among the flowers and catch a lonely eye.

I rattle and I prattle and I build a store of words
By subtle praise of phrases that soar the sky like birds
Catch the eye of other dreamers flying in the breeze
Luring them with cooing sounds that sigh among the trees.

I change the night to misty light by the power of praise
And find a world of freedom in the turning of a phrase.

You certainly turn a few nice phrases as you rattle along this nice poem.

JM,
Dear Winkie me,
I see you in the field sipping nectar tea.
Raspberry I'm sure it's the one you serve to me. We sit among the flowers hour after hour
Just drinking nectars tea in our dreamers bower. WW R S

you heard a song
in Moth's wings
you still belong
