Now selling flowers on the street
To total strangers that I meet.
Most people turn and walk away.
I'm just trying to live, day by day.

Don't turn your nose and snub me.
For tomorrow you could be,
The one whose luck has come tumbling down.
Standing here seeking a friend, that can't be found.

We really aren’t much different, me and you.
Not long ago my foot was in your shoe.
But with one misguided step, all went wrong.
And I ended up here where I don't belong.

Working through all this loneliness and misery.
I’m just waiting for the moment to be set free.
So give me the courage to continue on.
For someday, from this corner, I will be gone.

And when I return to the other side,
I won’t turn away and try to hide.
I’ll step up and offer a helping hand.
I'll say I was there and I  understand.

they say you had to be there
and to reach into the where
this perspective is engendered
that here so well you've rendered

We should never treat people in any way that we wouldn't want to be treated. It's so easy to do.Nice write here and by the way I'll take all your flowers.

Once in my life....I came very close to
feeling as though I was like that person..
A friend pulled me up and gave me the
encouragement to go on....

I am a sucker most of the time to give
something to someone in need...

Thank you for sharing this poem...It is
a very touching write.

(sad sigh) God BlessYou, sweet friend, I can relate to this feeling so very well! (sigh) I have always been very lonely, but I always have the heart to go lend a helping hand to someone in need and try and share my love to the world, and sometimes it helps me win their acquaintance over! (sigh) Always listen to your heart and share your love, for we all love you so very much and here, you will never be lonely! (kiss on cheek) You are an angel to us all, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eloise, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
