Yuletide's Banner

It's that time again
Of peace and love
Of praise and thanks
And thoughts above

But who left among us
Remembers history's page?
When the hungry cried
And we took the stage

Now look around
I say the need is plain
Gaze inside and ask
Are we still the same?

Reach out and touch
Your Brother's arm
Hold him close
And safe from harm

Extend your arms
Embrace the world
Raise the banner high
Let it be unfurled

"Let me pierce the realm of glamour
So I know just what I am." ~ Van Morrison

Eddie, words worth pondering. A time of love, such as this, should extend to all not just those we know. Well said.
