It is about writing in a whirlwind of emotions that drops words off in phrases that sigh within.

In the silence that is within me
Lies a poet
Whose beauty lies in the beholder

Whose complexity lies in
Bringing the puzzle into focus
Long enough to implant a picture within

In the seed of thought germinating
The emotions of the storms
To the gentleness of a silent blue sky floating
In pillows of colored rainbows

Overlooking the waterfalls of life
Thirsting for more to grab onto
In the magnetism of needs within

Dining in the wine that intoxicates
The love in life’s pleasures

In the garden that smiles of butterflies
On wisps of winds in silken words
So soft as to get in so deep
As to climax a sigh

And take off into the things that create
The images that haunt us in the desires

That flowers aromas blinding our sensuality
Into the pollen that lifts our spirit so high
That sight is restored

Overlooking the empire of creativity within
To flow onto the pages of time
To record the blessings of our silence

To put together the magic to punch out
A masterpiece from within
One lonely poet who cares

Hi, this is the first poem of yours I have seen, and it is just wonderful. Full of beautiful phrasing and thoughtful words.

This is a great presentation of your poetic musings. Well done, with vivid imagery, and a candid view of the heart of an artist.
