Looks Like I'm A Grandfather
As of December Eleven

Though life seemed pretty normal
and uneventful to most
on the above mentioned day
something truly miraculous
would soon come into play.
For this would be the
exact day that Jacob
Daniel Lee would be born
at precisely 9:26 a.m.
And as this new life begins
things will never be the same
for the proud young parents.
From this day forth their
lives will be lived as three.
Mommy Polly and daddy Daniel
and baby boy Jacob Daniel Lee.

Congratulations to my son Daniel
and his wife Polly on the birth of
their son Jacob Daniel Lee.
Born on December 11, 2001 at Corona
Regional Hospital where his mom works
as a nurse. He was 18 inches and
weighed 5 lbs. and 9 oz.

Yes it is exciting times and especially for them...their first child...and for me...my first grandchild...
I do like their choice of name...
Hopefully I will make it to California for Christmas so I can visit all my family and my new grandson...
You can all call me grandpa for this week but after that call me James again or I will have to talk to Santa about your Christmas gifts...ho..ho..ho...James
