Silence haunts me as I sit before a window.
Though the view beautiful, my eyes feel pain.
Hours of remembering cast shadows over me.
I hurt so when you are not here.

Missing you is like a thousand needles in me.
Not seeing your eyes,   I see only darkness.
Your voice gone, I hear only echoes of nothing.
My cries for you are unanswered, unheard.

Late is the day, my bones weary, mind tired.
Though my heart is strong, my love flounders.
Cells by the millions die within me
A dreamless sleep ages me.

Can you not call me, tell me you care?
Is this silence the beginning of an end?
Erase my name from within your heart?
For losing you is dealing me my demise.

Come into my day again, water the lonely rose.
Let my arms embrace you, spread love.
Allow my touch to sooth you, comfort you.
I, like a rose, will wither and die without you...

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Magnus, such thoughts of sorrow fill these words, but I know deep down with all my heart that with a loving faithful heart like yours, it will never happen! (sigh) She will always love you, and your love always shines for her in your words! (sigh) So sad but beautiful, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Magnus, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Noah...just stretching the wings on my pen.
Not feeling this right now...I just enjoy
getting to that level and letting it fly...

Well this aches off the page...
great use of metaphor and imagery..
and makes it even more impressive that you can write it this melancholy and not be in that place...
well done poet sir
jm

Its not like you to say sorry,
I was waitin on a different story.
This time I'm mistaken ...
for handing you a heart worth breaking.

Yes Duncan...I enjoy getting deep into my
emotions and putting them down like this
poem...I know them because I have felt them
at one time or another...Many months at
sea onboard a ship brings out many emotions
which are never forgotten.
