Turn Of The Wheel

Motionless
in waiting
quietly debating
many hits
and misses
few losses
no wishes

Precaution
move steady
do by you
be ready
no matter what
the deal
face the turn of the wheel

Reality
stunning
days of no more running
discretion
over looked
your first position
took

Happiness
adventure
a courageous venture
Exhilaration
life
Oppression
common strife

But all seems lost
denied
when reality
has lied
what's left but
to kneel
the next turn of the wheel

Wow, that has many layers and curves. The circle of life has some rough bumps.
Or maybe it is really more elliptical?

The wheel of life keeps turning, turning, sometimes taking us to places we want to go, sometimes to places we don’t. But, it is all experience and teaches us new lessons. Great write Craig. I read it a couple times, really like it.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
