A Duet with a Muse

You are there, here with Me
Centering my soul's destiny
Traced along curved lines so fair,
What you saw is my heart bared.

You are there, here with Me

I am your thought's desire
You remain my spark of fire
Kismet was our chance of meet
Fate now touches our heartbeat

You are there, here with Me

In my Where find Why of me
As I look to you for certainty
For you are caught in my inquire
And I am yours in fond desire.

You are there, here with Me

In this our web of design
Caught up in our own consign
I am now your fancy, freed,
You are there, here with Me

~*~

Now, Passionate Poets,
the challenge is the phrase,
"You are there, here with Me".
Have at it!

In a confused state, blinded by the White Lady in his eyes, poor ol' Long John misreads the challenge and quickly pens....

You are there, far from me,
Where I'm safe from all you see
As now my heart rejoices at
The kicking of a kitty cat!

Oh oh - I hope Marsha doesn't read this response, as I she will tell that lil Sunshine and Pandora about my backsliding ways....

You are there, here with me,
A peaceful song of serenity
That gives me hope and gives me peace
That things are as they're meant to be.

Beautiful poem Lady...fub food for thought.  Our muse is our best friend sometimes...
thank you.

Lady I can try, maybe Okay this is wonderful but 'tis a difficult challenge. YOU might well be able to do this but i don't know darling girl whether I can do it.

As for you Long John,   Oh how could you? And after you promised the kitties a day free from you kicking them all. How can you be so cruel on this special day.

I do no more than say I'll think about it,
Love and warm stuff
as always

Well you already know I love this one...
this is a lovely pairing of words and anticipation of things to come, promised.
As for that challenge...that my dear lady requires a muse and mine ONCE AGAIN seems to be on holiday.
She better bring me back some chocolate covered cherries

ok, this I will have to try if my muse will just come visit for a short while.  I liked this one Lady.

Another inspirational challenge. Hmm, perhaps I'll ask my muse to participate, if she isn't already halfway there, or is it here, with you?

This is incedibly beautiful. I don't think I can meet this challenge, but hey, maybe I will try anyway.
This sounds like a song, perfectly flowing and lyrical.

(just for fun)...

You are there, here with me ~
You, fine wine, and me, the brie.
Stale crackers along our way,
Have tried to keep us two away.

You are there, here with me ~
In my heart you'll always be,
Just as yang needs a ying
It is your words I always sing.

You are there, here with me ~
Inside your heart I always see,
Compassion, grace, a lady fair,
Lady in White, I took your dare!

~*~  May the spirit of this season live in your heart all year through ~*~
