This is an exploration
a deportation of my thoughts
to the surface of papered woes.
Believe in me if you must
but I feel the fade coming on
like the drown before the darkness taps.
This is me entangled
within the resting place of my heart
dreamed of, but not spoken of.
While tongues wrap around my name in voice
while eyes embrace my squirming words
I am broken into pieces
and fed little by little
to the places that are empty within you.
Will I ever be enough to fill your all?
Will you ever be strong enough to take my fall?
This is an exploration of my voice
a desperation of thoughts
quickened by the blood coarsing through
missing you veins.
I am once again caught
trapped
heartbeat fluttering in thundered fright.
This is respiration of my heart
an expiration of my pain
a total me in you
a sadness drain.
This is an exploration of the deportation
of my willing spirit
sending itself on fluff and wings to you.
Will airmail kisses suffice
when the destination is you?

I am many.

Talk about a deep poem! I especially liked the line: When airmail kisses suffice when the destination is you? Beautiful...

Poetry is spiritual ventilation!

Domzi,
Thank you.   I wasn't sure how to end it, so I just let it come as naturally as I could.

I am many.

I'm sure that they will. . . for whoever you're sending them to. . .

I like the ending. . . it's perfect. . . great job. . .

This poem has a life of its own, as it seemed to breathe and move about with little effort or push. I like it, it is full of emotion.

I could have sworn I responded to this, I thought I remembered reading it, it's very flowing all the way down the page, I love how you do that by the way.

Thank you.
