Three cups of loving
one cup of sin
sprinkle with pleasure
grease the pan, to begin

spice with affection
some hugs and some tears
kindness and humor
will temper the years

cook to perfection
for a husband and wife
thoroughly blend
for a long happy life

Lyra,
Where did you find all that wisdom? Experience I suppose. Cool!

Thanks for the Pic.

This is a wonderful recipe! Maybe it should be attached to every wedding cake in the world?

(smiles) Mmmmmmmm...very beautifully delicious indeed! (sigh) I pray someday I'll be able to hold love close to my heart and be married before my time is done. (smiles) This is sooooooo beautiful, sweet Lyra, we all love you so very much! May true love forever blossom in your loving heat! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lyra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Lyra - Very well spoken!  That sin part... Is kicking kitties a sin?  Don't blame me for asking.  Karilea got this started and I'm just the victim.

Back to the subject.  I love the way you presented this wisdom, as a recipe.  The lines flow so smoothly, and there is so much said here that needs saying.

Thanks Larry,
You're right...thats how I learned it...
through years of experience...and through being married twice.
My first marriage lasted 34 yrs...and then my husband died.
I just got married again a few weeks ago.
My first marriage was very happy and so is this one...So I must have gotten the recipe right, somehow!

Thanks Longjohn,
Kicking kitties?  I don't know about that...but then...I am certainly not an expert on what is and isn't sinful.
I've probably committed a lot of sins that I don't even know about...but I've never kicked a kitty!
I have too much wisdom for that one.
