Bless the emotions of the season that will make us more human and less needy. Bless the emotions of the season that will make us more human and less needy.

Oh how the season of joy
Can affect those under its spell
While some climb in exultations
Others cry their emotions to sleep

Some will look out their window
And see the fortunes of gems sparkle
Other will see the bleakness
Of snow faded to the grays of tears

Some will have gifts piled high
Others are just glad to be alive

Some children will run in the warmth
Of their parents wealth
While other may bundle in the rags of love

So even in a nation so rich
The poor will survive to want more
Than a leaky room
That showers them cold
In ice bone-chilling dreams built on ice chairs

While others dry to the bone in crackling warmth
Of chairs of golden lace
Which caress the bottoms so warm
That their pride glows red

While the blues of a life stone cold
Can still believe in the fantasies
Of cookies of love being given
To those they love

So joy of the seasons
Remember the fact to at least
Think how lucky we are
Even if we live in the rags that love

For there are others
Who always have less
And you can share a rag upon them
In the faith of a tear
Which will freeze to your face
And will live inside
For the warmth of eternity

So let those that have more
Think they have it better
For when your fireplace comes from within
To care so much
In the comforts of others
Crying with you
In the love of the season of joy

Blessings I say to you
In and out of any season
For my heart will always have a rag
With a tear on it
For this Poet cries in the words that feels inside
So deep as to give the blessings
From my eternity into yours
So be on your way
Take my words with you
And store them in your heart of gold
