First movement alerts the soul, the climax coming no doubt will be a spiritual movement none will forget...

Yes!  I should have known...after the Prelude comes the First Movement.  Ah Sven, that we all should be as clever.  This is very very well done!

YES, yes, yes, yes, I love this, I wrote a poem a long time ago called "con brio"
and I never dreamed anyone else would ever relate to it!  I love this!

Ummm..Sven Pen? I'm going to be honest with you here. I see this poem, but I don't HEAR it! LOL! I think that comes from my lack of knowledge about music. I'm gettin' lots and lots of embarassment from not understaning, but I still like it! lol!

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since

Hello, and thank you all for replying. . .

the idea behind this one is that it's laid out like an orchestral score (woodwinds at the top, strings at the bottom). . . I've gond for a pretty standard setup here. . .

the words tell you when each instrument enters, and what they're playing. . . in the key I've indicated, and in the time shown (4/4). . . you supply your own melody. . .

you could get really deep and say that this relates to the "first movement" of a life. . . or, of a journey through a life. . . a journey of self-discovery. . . (the "call" from the trumpet, unanswered. . . or not?)

thanks again. . .
