The Gift There is something special About God’s gift to a man That steals the minds of the weak While controlling the hearts of the strong Like the Sirens of a past myth Whose seducing voices of persuasion Led both the innocent and corrupt To a song-induced death Drowning them in blind love So is the power of man’s greatest weakness No longer a myth But as real as a summer breeze That runs an invisible hand Through the flowers of temptation Spreading seeds of illusion That sprouts into lilies and roses Mesmerizing the minds of men And intriguing the soul With the beauty that is a woman Marcel Write from the soul and the words will flow |
