~* I'm Just Too Busy To Write A Poem *~

I'm too busy to write a poem,
Gosh these days I'm never home!
I can't keep up with all of you,
no matter what I try to do.

I've decided just to hunt and peck,
read here and there, what the heck!
If I sit and worry about all of this,
I'll make myself sick about what I miss.

Know this my friends I really care,
and late at night I sit and stare.
I read all I can until my eyelids close,
So I'm doing the best I can, I suppose.

~*~

~*~

LOL and HO, HO, HO
I just didn't want to you think I forgot you all as I do try to keep up but
'tis the season to be jolly they say, however
for me it is just the season to be frantic!

Take care and write on you wonderful poets you,
and I will catch up eventually!

Sharon,
Hey, watch out for the ice out there. And be sure to wear clean underwear! ROTFLMAO! See you soon, babe.

Mysteria - I certainly know how you feel. At times we are so busy that it is hard to keep up. But we are all friends here, and I'm sure that everyone understands...

This is the busiest time of year.  But you sound so happy and alive and that's the important thing!  We will always be here!

Dear Sharon,
I know exactly what you mean. There's simply not enough time in a day. But you wrote a mighty fine poem about not writing a poem.

Have A Happy Holiday Everyone!
Whatever holiday you are celebrating at this time of year - remember to have fun doing it!  The forum will always be here like the warm, friendly library of friends that it is, but the holidays, spending time with friends and family, or just being out in the crowds, comes but once a year.  Thank you all so much for being the kind of wonderul people you are here as you have all made my year very, very special indeed.
Thanks for replying to this little ditty.

I'll send toothpicks.  You use them to prop up your eyelids.  That, or scotch tape!  Nevermind, scotch tape will pull out your eyelashes!  Oh Fudge, just don't worry about it!  If you can't find all of the poems where you want them, you can always find them in the archives!!!

Hello Sharon
I haven't seen you as often and I can relate to that myself as I don't get as much time but I'm still writing.  I found I was getting too emotional with my writing and had to make myself stop for a while but the words just keep on flowing and I can't stop them and I still love what I do as I know you do.  I hope life is treating you kindly.
Take care.....Sue

Sunshine ~ Yup gotta watch my eyelashes LOL

Suetang ~ How good to see you!  The reason your writing is getting to emotional is you are "getting there" and don't stop now!  Writing is the best therapy there is and absolutely free, the feelings we touch on are meant to be touched on.  I wish I could give you a real hug over the holidays as I know you are feeling like I am - missing someone dear to you, but please accept my cyberhug and know I care.  Happy Holidays to you and your family Sue.  Oh, thanks for reading this lol
